Security Engineer
As our Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for protecting our platform and our users' sensitive biometric data. You'll build security into every layer of our stack, from code review to infrastructure hardening to incident response.

What You'll Do
- Lead security architecture reviews for new features and systems
- Implement and maintain encryption for biometric data at rest and in transit
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and code audits
- Manage our bug bounty program and coordinate with external researchers
- Drive SOC 2, GDPR, and other compliance initiatives
- Develop security training and best practices for the engineering team
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of security engineering experience
- Deep knowledge of application security, cryptography, and secure coding
- Experience with security tools (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/GCP IAM, VPCs, security groups)
- Strong communication skills to work across engineering and leadership
Nice to Have
- Experience with biometric data protection regulations
- Background in identity verification or fintech security
- Security certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CEH)
