What counts as a verification?
Operations are categorized as MLO (Machine Learning Operation) or NMLO (Non-Machine Learning Operation). MLO includes age verification, face match + ID verification, Face2FA, and blacklist checks — these require ML processing. NMLO includes Xident ID verification for returning users, passkey login, and OAuth — these are lookups that don't need ML. Some industries like iGaming require full ID verification (MLO), while others can use client-based age verification with ID verification as a fallback.
What is an NMLO (Xident ID verification)?
When a user verifies once and creates an Xident ID, subsequent verifications on any site using Xident are NMLO operations — significantly cheaper because they don't require ML processing. This "Verify Once" model saves you up to 70% on returning users.
Why do the plans have monthly fees?
