Platform Engineer

We're looking for a Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that keeps Xident running at 99.99% uptime. You'll own our Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stack, enabling the team to ship confidently and quickly.

What You'll Do

  • Design and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple regions
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid, safe deployments
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps practices
  • Set up comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response tooling
  • Manage database infrastructure including replication, backups, and disaster recovery
  • Drive security initiatives including SOC 2 compliance and penetration testing

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of DevOps/Platform/SRE experience
  • Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration
  • Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Understanding of network security, VPCs, and cloud IAM

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance
  • Background in high-availability systems (99.99%+ uptime)
  • Go or Python scripting skills
