What You'll Do
- Research and prototype new approaches to age bracket classification and face analysis
- Develop novel anti-spoofing and liveness detection methods resistant to emerging attack vectors
- Design and run experiments to improve our +18 classifier FRR below 5% while maintaining 0.03% FPR
- Explore VLM-based document verification improvements for our docling OCR pipeline
- Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize research into ONNX-exportable models
- Contribute to technical publications and patents when appropriate
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of ML research or research engineering experience
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field
- Strong publication record or demonstrated research contributions in computer vision
- Expert PyTorch skills and ability to implement papers from scratch
- Experience with experiment tracking and reproducible research workflows
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
Nice to Have
- Publications in top CV/ML venues (CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICML)
- Experience with on-device model optimization and ONNX deployment
- Background in biometric security or anti-spoofing research
